Farzam Construction Company (FCC) was originally established under the name of Sayeed Architectural & Engineering Project Co .Ltd, in 1996 with an initial capital investment . The main activities under Sayeed Architectural & Engineering were architectural designs and consultation in regards to engineering activities.

In 2004 the Company name was changed to Farzam Construction Company (F.C.C) and registered itself under the name of Farzam Construction Company (FCC). FCC then expanded its operation from Design and Consultation to include constructions of buildings, roads, bridges, schools, power station, universities, irrigation systems and Logistic Centers.  One of FCC most prized project was the Afghan National Police Regional Logistic Centers.

FCC continues to grow and expand by forming new working relationship, maintain current working relationships while at the same time continuing to grow and improve within FCC.  FCC was recently awarded contract W917PM-09-C-0023‘s – Afghan National Army and support facilities at Kandak on 19 March 2009 in a joint venture with Areeb Engineering and Logistics,  an Iraq Company that has recently entered the Afghan construction scene.

FCC is unique in its ability to provide supplies, equipment, material and manpower throughout Afghanistan.  This is largely due to it’s diverse employees and associates that FCC began cultivating 2 years ago as FCC understood the need to be able to provide services throughout the country and not in just one area of the country. FCC’s newest operational tasking is to continue in working relationships with new companies that can improve FCC administrative and managerial abilities while at the same time continuing FCC’s current trend of delivering quality work on time and within cost.   For every project whether FCC takes the lead role or a subordinate role FCC will have a separate management team to assist and learn from the project primary management team.

FCC currently has four operational offices in Afghanistan, which provides FCC with the ability to work in all areas of the country.  The main office is located in Kabul with regional offices in Puli Khumri, Kandahar, Herat and Gardez.  With offices throughout the country FCC has a readily available pool of workers when in all fields including both skilled and unskilled laborers. This also allows FCC to have a mobile work force is one area requires additional workers to supplement or accelerate a project.
